1. Missing my Maggie girl today. We took her to Ms. Maureen's early today as part of our effort to get her naps on a more consistent schedule. It seems to have worked OK, but miss getting to see her quite as much this morning. Really, I was in Zumba (one of the hardest days ever) most of the extra time, but still....
2. Can you believe I didn't have any cute jewelry in my 31 things list yesterday? Could be because M has been been abusing my jewelry and my ears this week so haven't been wearing as much. Just for you, here are a couple ideas: For those that like my big vintage drops check out these pink ones, or maybe I should switch to rings to stymie M a bit, how about this? Somehow I know baby lady would love teething on this one. I did get a very lovely turquoise piece from Bill and Marilyn for my birthday, but don't have pics yet. (Thanks you Richards crew!)
3. B is obsessed by Mario Kart Wii this week. We play a lot. He played with Grammy and Granddaddy this weekend. He can even complete races on his own and has placed as high as 4th which is a BIG improvement.
4. M cannot crawl yet per se, but can now pretty much get wherever she wants to go. She seems to be getting better daily. She relies a lot on the worm movements, but can also sort of shift, hop, wiggle or otherwise make it there. I have a video and will try to get it out this week.
5. M also LOVES blowing raspberry noises now. I think it is a function of sucking on her new tooth, but she does it a lot and seems to really enjoy it.
6. Have you heard the story of little Layla Grace? I have to warn you that it is completely heartbreaking, but know they could use some help and support so check out Bella's Bowtique for an opportunity to help a little bit while getting some pretties.
7. No clue how to follow that, so how about some random recipe thoughts? I love garlic and I love cheese and you all know how much I love bread, right? So something like this garlic bread from Pioneer Woman should be awesome. However, I just get hung up on the thought of Mayo in my garlic bread concoction. I have even tried a similar recipe in the past. I just don't get it. (Mindless enough?)
8. Am tentatively hoping my Dad will come help us create some sort of a garden type area in the back yard this weekend. Do you all have any suggestions we should keep in mind as we undertake this project? Any advice is appreciated.
9. Did you know today is Dr. Seuss' birthday? B's recent favorite has been Fox In Socks
. I have to admit I enjoy it as well. It is fun to read even every day for a week.... which of course I did a couple weeks ago:) Meanwhile, you can find some cool Dr. Seuss kids craft ideas here, but admit we haven't tried them yet. 
10. I "think" we may get to see cousin John and his mom this week! How fun is that. Cautiously optimistic and excited to see the newly two -year old nephew.
