Scrappy Sunday

A bit late, but I have several pages to share with you.  Most of these were inspired by the challenges this week at Elle's Studio and many feature the Studio Calico 35mm kit

This one is a bit lighter in person, but also very simple.  Most of the elements were already on the paper and I just happened on to this older photo of M as she turned one.  The journaling talks about her transition from baby to toddler.

Fast-forward to April 2012 - and we find Grandma B and our kids assembling the annual Egg tree.  The egg art is a project from M's class at school this spring.

This one was inspired by one of the Elle's Studio sketches and talks about our Easter Egg Hunt the farm, including B's headstart.  It was pretty fun to play with all the circles.

M and B love playing in the sprinklers and that play often turns into Water Gun wars as we see here.

Back to 2010, with a big picture of our then 3.5 year old being his sweet adorable self.

I admit, I'm not quite satisfied with this one for some reason, but it is an attempt at capturing some early moments with M.  We spent a lot of time just looking at her when she first arrived as she was already so different from her brother.

This last one is from Thanksgiving 2011.  There are lots of layers and lots of leaves.  It was also my first time experimenting with painting with the Studio Calico wood veneers.  Here all the hearts and arrows were painted with different Mister Huey colors.  (Some of the layouts above have these too, like the hearts in "Winsome).

Hope you're having a delightfully crafty week!
