Scrappy Sunday {+ Giveaway!}

How fun is this? These pictures go way back to the fall of 2010 (a period where I was not scrapping much). I love that B just randomly wore his Spiderman costume to his grandparents (and that we let him). He knew his cousin would love it and had a great day.  Believe it or not six pictures on one page!  (Supply Notes: Amy Tangerine AC paper, SC hearts, AC thickers, and random tags, washi, and glassine bags, easy!)

Of late, I've been trying to curb my scrapbook purchases to mostly just my monthly kit.  However, I had to buy E a baby album and to reach the $50 free shipping bought a few more things on the promise to myself that I would use them immediately.  Here is the first of those pages with a few very new things and a few much older ones.  It is part of a series I have to include pages of our kids with each Grandparent, Aunt, Uncle, Sibling, and Parent (maybe cousins too?).  This is with Granddaddy on her 1st birthday. (Supply Note: BG Soleil Paper, Dear Lizzy Card, tag, and vellum, SC butterflie and AC Glitter tape)

As noted, I'm trying to get Brent and I in the albums too.  The above is a picture I took on the road as we drove to STL.  I rather liked it (after some editing, I admit).  This is a little bit about this day and a little bit about me.  (Supply Note: SC Neverland Kit, Tim Holtz tickets, SC hearts, AC Thickers, Pebbles "today" sticker from earlier SC kit, and various Mr. Huey mists and MME scraps).

Last week, I promised a page about Brent and here it is!  This picture is also from my phone on my road trip.  He'd been driving more than six hours at this point.  The journaling is about how he does all the driving on our road trips -- both of our preference.  (Supply Note - mostly SC Neverland kit mask, cardstock & mist, Dear Lizzy & Elle's Studio tags, Freckled Fawn heart, assorted washi).

This page features a photo by Heather Warren & is B's 4.5 year old page. (Remember, I scrap 8x10s of each kid for each six month interval--- which happens to line up with our family photo shoots. I do not stress about when I get around to it. I just print the 8x10s and do them as inspiration strikes.)  I love the joy and enthusiasm in this picture. I love that he has relaxed with Heather over time resulting in great pictures, particularly here where she was playing with him on the playground. (Supply Note - Misc SC Kit left overs, SC wood veneer, Maggie Holmes Gold Thickers, MME paper, lots of washi).

Still with me? It is time for the give away!  I love washi tape and many of the pages above include it.  A month or two ago I won a huge package of washi tape from Stephanie Howell and promised her I'd take a few out, add a few of my own, and pass the rest on to one lucky person.  Do you want to be that person? What would you do with a bunch of fun washi tape?  Beyond scrapbooking we use them to tape things up all over our house, seal Easter Eggs, Decorate Egg cartons, do craft projects, tape signs or art to doors and walls (it comes off easily), seal letters, and really anything else in need of taping. Leave a comment below and I will draw a winner next Sunday in time for my Scrappy Sunday post.

Love the Spider-Man page. That is the new phase we are in at our house, need a costume ASAP. Also, so glad you have introduced me to the great fun that is washi tape. I use it all the time on my pages, probably not as much in everyday life as you do.

I would share with my students at school, we scrap twice a month and last time I took some washi in they LOVED it! So, I would take it to them and let them go hog wild!

I love the idea of passing it on, Washi tape isn't a trend that will go away completely. It is now a staple in my box of tools. Congrats on winning Stephanie's stash and thank you for the chance to win some.

Isn't Washi just the best supply? It's the most versatile thing in my entire stash, for sure, and everyone in the house wants to use it (the cats bat the rolls I drop around the floor and the puppy seems to think it's dental floss)! thanks for the chance to win, your layouts are great and I sincerely admire your dedication to the each kid every six months commitment!

I have been so so frugal that even Washi tape is out of the question for me unless I can envision a zillion ways to use it. So this would be a fab thing! TFS!

Thanks so much for the giveaway opportunity. I am late to the land of washi tape and it is my newest favorite. I am using it all over my PL layouts. I also found it is great for sealing closed some of those PL packets that I use to save cards or other memorabilia in.

Love the layouts of you and your husband. Washi has become my newest obsession, use it on everything. Plus I scrap with a bunch of ladies who just discovered washi. It would be fun to share the love with them. Thanks for a chance.

I share mine with my daughter who will washi anything that isn't moving. (So far the cat has stayed out of her way when she is playing with tape, but I suspect a new collar is in her future. Thanks for the chance to win.

I love Washi tape! Serenity shares it with me, and it's great since she tends to put tape all over the place. =) Love the pages above, especially the ones of you and Brent! Good for you!

I love washi! I've only just come back to scrapping after a 3.5 year hiatus so my washi collection thus far is tiny. But I live all your ideas for use! I never would have thought to use it outside of scrapbooking! So cute!! :) LOCE that last page as well, adorable photo!

Thanks for the awesome opportunity! :)
