November 20, 2016 - SHE DID IT!
Wow, this day was a long time coming. M has had a bicycle for almost 3.5 years. I think the training wheels have been off for at least a year and a half. She has been so very close to getting it, but not quite there. Grandma things the muscles from horse riding are helping, but I think possibly the bravery from riding is helping just as much.
Today, she had been playing outside with E and off and on I came out to check on them or take pictures or whatever. My prior trip outside had been less than 10 minutes ago. Then she burst in telling Brent and I she wanted to show us something on her bike she had never done before! We looked at each other skeptically, but grabed the camera and ran outside. Low and behold, she had done it! She had taught herself how to ride her bike at long last All By Herself! We are so tremendously proud of her... and yes, she has earned a bike the right size :)
