B has added some new cute tricks to his repertoire in the last few weeks. His newest cute tricks are mostly adorable sayings. Sometimes these have debuted just when I/we have needed them most. Overall, I think he is speaking more clearly, but continues to talk much less when other people are around so you may have to trust us on this. My favorite new sweet sayings are:
"I love you Mommy"
" Goodnight Mommy" and "Goodnight Daddy"
"A Kiss for Maggie"
Much ongoing negotiation of things like food and bedtime focusing on "not yet" plus whatever he is working on.
"I want to go home"
"I need to go to work"
"I need a haircut"
"Delicious" - Cannot capture how cute this is when he says it and how completely sweet when it is about something I actually made.
"3, 4, 9, 10" This is part of our counting fun lately. We spend a lot of time counting people's fingers and toes. B has an odd habit of switching 5 and 9 which ends up with some off base counting. When asked how many of something there is he almost always counts up 3,4,9,10. It is cute, but of course a work in progress. Usually, if given fingers to count with will get the appropriate numbers in there, but this fall back position is pretty cute too.
He is strangely fond of Alladin these days and Brent has caught him singing little bits of songs from the movie. We routinely sing - Twinkle, Twinkle, the ABC Song, Head and Shoulders, Knees and Toes, Itsy Bitsy Spider, Good Morning to you, "Sunshine Song" -- actually this is You are My Sunshine and I sing it more than he does, but is often requested, "Happy Birthday" and various bits of songs from our new kids songs CD. The cool thing about many songs on the CD is there are motions included so we work on those too.
He is such an adorable little guy. I love you my little man!

Yep, there's no doubt about the cuteness factor. Adorable...to use your word. I love the picture of you and B doing itsy bitsy. So glad you caught that one. I am also glad you are writing them down, because you will forget.
