Prayers for Haiti

My heart breaks with images of Haiti today. It feels like there is so little we can do. We've donated to our charity of choice and I encourage you to do so as well (some are listed below).  Also, consider commenting on The Pioneer Woman's site today to possibly win some money for your charity and increase her donation with your comment (you can find it here).  Even if you don't have the money just now to help, take a second for maybe a little prayer for them as they work to rebuild and heal and maybe one more prayer to thank the Lord that your family and home is safe this day.

A few Charities responding to this crisis:

American Red Cross: Send a $10 Donation by Texting ‘Haiti’ to 90999  on most of the US cell phone providers on a monthly plan.  You can also make a donation by calling 1-800-REDCROSS or 1-800-257-7575 (Spanish) or click on the Donate Now button at http://www.redcross.org/ The donation via text message is added to your service provider bill, in addition to any other text messaging or data charges that are applicable to your particular phone plan.
