Our taste of summer this year is Sonic's vanilla cone. Most summers we have been snow cone people, but this year, we've only had snow cones once or twice without too much excitement. We have discovered this smooth, cream, delicious treat instead and other favorites have fallen to the wayside (even B's beloved blue ocean water slush). From a parent standpoint, it is only 180 calories and $1. Better still, very accessible without loading and unloading everyone in the heat and results in very happy, if somewhat messy kids. Today we had a couple to celebrate B's half birthday. A perfect celebration of summer at 4.5 years old.
