It has been awhile since I've done a Book Fun post and we have a new favorite series to share: Fly Guy. On a work trip earlier in the year I picked up Buzz Boy And Fly Guy.
It seemed like a non-licensed character attempt at a simple super hero story and maybe a good early reader book for B. This week, we discovered this is just one of the many Fly Guy books.
It seemed like a non-licensed character attempt at a simple super hero story and maybe a good early reader book for B. This week, we discovered this is just one of the many Fly Guy books. While we were flipping through the early reader books the librarian who was re-stocking nearby handed us the three below, which we promptly took home to enjoy. Some of the stories play on nursery rhymes ( for example-- there was an old lady who swallowed a fly)
. Others, are more original stories, but often play on familiar themes. (like "I spy"
). They are quite funny to a 4 year old and pretty fun for the parents too. I think it is safe to say we'll be reading quite a bit more about the adventures of fly guy in weeks to come and hope your lil' one likes them too.
