A few webfinds that wouldn't quite wait for Friday:
1. I've seen this several places, but love the idea. You gather all your Christmas books up before December, wrap them and then unwrap one per day. I doubt we have 25 Christmas books yet, but probably will in a couple years when my kids are ready for this project. Read more here. For now, they each are getting one new Christmas book during December and we're putting the other ones we have in a basket for easy rotation into our day.
2. I'm always a fan of Liz @Mom-101 and enjoyed this article entitled "Remember the Donut" - so true.
3. I've been quite hesitant to mention my Bloggess fan status here as she is not my Mom's style (sorry mom and other maybe offended folks). I think she is hilarious though, particularly her love for the ridiculous and joy through all her ailments. This week, she is in a funny twitter campaign related to Stephen Colbert (whose show I also very much enjoy). Read more of the ridiculousness here.
4. I love words and graphic art and for a long while (maybe still) my little guy loved robots. So this robo alphabet art I found on Etsy (via Cool Mom Picks) is just too cool not to share. And for those less robo inclined, what about this awesome wooden wand -- yes, I kind of want one too.
5. I so SO want to go see the new Muppet Movie in the theater very soon. Meanwhile, these Kermit Keds make me smile. (also via Cool Mom Picks Holiday list -- maybe you should go read the whole thing, it rocks.)
I'll likely be back later with our first day of Advent/December Daily and maybe even tales from the Edmond Parade that starts at 6:30pm tonight in downtown Edmond if any of the locals are interested in joining us!

1. I do like the Bloggess; I think she is hysterical. The humor I don't like is stuff that is lewd, sexually insinuative and really, really ignorant. She is none of those. (And you though you knew me. Ha!)
2. I want to go see the Muppet Movie too and preferably with you and yours. (It is a tradition, right?)
3. What should I get for your son for Christmas??????? I got nothin.
Okay, I can't spell. I thought I could spell thought but I was mistaken. Maybe it is more of a typing problem. Should I stop drinking this tea now??? I seem a tiny bit wired this morning. I have only had three cups in the last hour. What do you think?
I love the Muppets! I want to see them too! :)
