1. Ok - so this is just too good not to share. Check out this link to a random encounter of awesomeness. The gentleman proposing is my old, dear friend Tim. I haven't talked to Tim much in recent years as we've moved from Law and Medical school respectively, but he is an amazing guy and I'm so happy for them both. (Jessie went to school with Able, Tim, and I too!) I love amazing little coincidences like a wonderful photographer who just happens to be walking by during one of life's big moments. So sweet!
2. What do you make for Christmas morning? I am hoping I'll be having sausage biscuits and gravy with my mom sometime during the weekend so I'm saving that standby. I am thinking maybe this Cinnamon Pull-Apart bread that you start the day before? At the moment, it seems like maybe I'd like something salty/savory too or instead as this pregnancy is about the salt it seems, but the bread looks awesome and very kid-happy.
3. You remember yesterday when I talked about making all that fudge. In the interest of full disclosure you should know all the batches were from the Cook's Illustrated 15-minute fudge lexicon. Here is my husband's very favorite peanut butter fudge which we are taking everywhere this weekend. Here is the rocky road version which I just tasted for the first time and oh, my yum! (Alternatively, this white version looks awesome).
4. This little dock to get pictures from my camera to my iPad is a must have. I might never pick up my laptop again... at least until I run out of storage. On my wishlist for sure!
5. I don't have the time to make it this week, but every time I see this on Pintrest I promised myself --soon. Doesn't this Garlic Cheese Bread look amazing?
I'm off to try to finish making Christmas gifts and start on the house cleaning. Have any cool web finds I should check out this week?
