Day 22: PJs + Date Night

Craft note:  The below journaling will be printed later today and adhered on the left page of Day 22 which is some old vintage paper (You can see the reverse on Day 21). 

Journaling: Thursday was the last day of work, the last day of preparation, and the beginning of the celebration stage. The morning began with Advent calendars and new PJs for the kids.  In the afternoon, I finished making presents for my Mom and Marilyn, and then we began prepping for the evening.  When Brent got home, we packed up kids and backpacks for a slumber party with Grammy & Granddaddy.  After dropping them off and taking our date night photos, Brent and I were off to his friend Jamie's wedding at the Guthrie Scottish Rite Masonic Temple.  I'd always wanted to visit this historic Oklahoma landmark and we were honored to help celebrate the wedding of one of Brent's OSSM friends.  After the festivities, we came home alone to a bit more preparing before the round of parties that Friday would bring.  It was wonderful being together, focusing on each other and love before all the distraction and flurry that was to come.  We're a very lucky couple and I so love time with my guy.
