Ok, so it isn't Sunday, but I had too much to share to wait a week and our delightful whirlwind visit to Dallas kept me happily away from my computer:) Enjoy!
I think that I've mentioned that scrapbooking is my therapy. Here is a clear demonstration of that. On Friday, I read this post by Rebecca Woolf. It was timely as breastfeeding came to an end this week, but the comments were a bit tough for me. I pretty much immediately wandered over to tell my story. I love that I have this outlet even though I'm still, all these years and babies later still learning to accept and embrace my story.
Here is one of E's first pages for his baby book. Simple and sweet. It features one of his newborn photos by Heather Warren Photography, as do the next two pages.
This page was inspired by my September class at Studio Calico - Pop of the Page. I read the course materials on the way to Dallas and tried them out when I got home. It is a bit different than some of the more minimalist pages in this post, but it was fun and I like it.
This was the first page I made for E. Sweet moment with his big brother. Also, a big step where I use paper I love when it is new rather than hoard it.
Then, we flash back to lady M's early days and a dress that I also wore as a baby.
Here is more awesome cloud paper and a layout that incorporates my tag from the week before and special memories of Grandma B and B.
This one was inspired by last week's SC Sketch. I don't love this page as much as the others, but I do love the story and think it is a bit cooler in person than in the picture.
A great crafting week and hopefully more to come!
