As my regular readers might have guessed, most of my evening scrapping time was taken over by recipe blogging this week. I did, however, sneak in two pages. My mom has noticed, as I did long ago, that I blog subjects in spurts. So, for example, you may see a week with lots of pictures of E and then next week it might be M. This week, apparently, it was me. I do think it is important to tell my story too, but don't do it as much as I should. Here are my small offerings from this week.
This photo is by Heather Warren Photography. I happen to love pictures of my husband and I kissing. The height difference makes for a more dramatic look too. Whatever the reason, we take them often and they are among my favorites. Most of the supplies are from the September Studio Calico kit, but with pieces from the SC Hey Day line and earlier kits along with some pieces from my desk.
On Monday, I had a "bad" run. It was too hot and E and I melted. It was just bad. That afternoon, I took a moment to scrap this picture from last fall. This is not a favorite photo of me, but is necessary to tell the story of learning to love running and gradually growing faster (although never fast) and improving endurance. Now, it is almost a year later and I'm working on all those same things again just heavier doing it with my post-preganancy body. This was a good way to vent and remind myself why I am doing this and that I CAN do this. Scrap therapy wins again!
Crafting note - this is mostly made from SC's September Kit with a few extras from Amy Tangerine and letters by OA and SC's Heyday (again). The pennant layers are inspired by the Pop Off the Page class at SC.
