Sunshine albums (part II)

I've now made two albums for the Sunshine Albums project I mentioned a few weeks ago. I may make another one with Audra, but it may be too close to the due date by the time she arrives. I made the first album with left over little boy papers I'd decided weren't my style and an album I originally bought for Jamie's shower before buying a different one to better match the color scheme.

The second album is probably for a bit older girl. I had an S.E.I. kit sitting around that I'd bought as part of a big sale sometime and never used as I couldn't quite find the right thing to put in it. I'd thought about making it as a gift and this was perfect. I just followed the instructions pretty much exactly, but removed the fall elements and added in a bit more embellishments.
So, I now have two albums in the mail and will hopefully brighten a few parents and their kids day. It was neat to do it all with supplies I had on hand. I think this is a great project and hope to contribute even more next year. Meanwhile, for those of you in the OKC area, you are more than welcome to raid my stash if you'd like to make a book of your own for this project.

You can see images of the pages I made here.

(P.s. Child's Play 2008 has launched officially now as well).
