Trains!

On Sunday, we went to visit Grammy and Granddaddy. B was surprised to discover that Granddaddy had gotten an amazing train set (via a super super sale he came across). He had also spent 9 hours putting it and the accompanying table (not pictured as it is waiting for a missing piece). All the boys as well as Grammy and I had some fun with trains.

There was lots of talk of "Thomas." Brent reorganized the track to try and keep trains from flying off at the turn. B moved things all around and Granddaddy smiled and helped everyone. I'm not sure who enjoyed it more, but it was a very fun evening. B is definitely playing more with the trains than he used to.

We started making outings to Barnes & Noble when he was about five months old and have gone periodically since. B has gone from just staring at them to moving them all around and some disassembling of tracks. He still isn't really interested in long lines of cars and is not very organized in his train fun. He does seem to really enjoy it though and it made for a great cold afternoon inside with his grandparents. Thanks Grammy and ESPECIALLY Granddaddy!
