Travel Suggestions?

I am pondering a long weekend for just Brent and I in March around Spring Break to recover from the bar and have some us time before the new baby and before travel is uncomfortable. Considering time and money the destination should probably be domestic. We prefer warm to cold (don't snow ski, etc, but open to ideas). Let me know if you have any suggestions or prior trips you particularly liked. Thanks in advance!

Santa Fe! Considering that I keep suggesting it for Girls' Weekend that shouldn't be a surprise coming from me.

We are in the process of planning a trip as well! A second babymoon/30th bday celebration. We decided on Vegas since we're going with a couple other couples and they all really wanted to go, but looked at Scottsdale, Costa Rica and Florida as well. I think Vegas will be fun as we're not doing a "party all night" trip, but instead a "go see shows, go to the spa and maybe the Grand Canyon" trip. Plus it's pretty cheap right now with the economy. Wherever you go will be great though, especially now that you can truly appreciate the babymoon for what it is, since you know what's in store!

I don't know how "domestic" or thrifty you are trying to be but David and I found a BEAUTIFUL luxery cabin in Broken Bow, Oklahoma. It is about 4 hours away. Dave and I are not big "outside" people-we don't fish, some hiking is okay...etc. But, it is a beautiful part of our state and we just wanted somewhere to relax. We took all of our own food and our favorite movies. We went on a 2 hour horseback ride which I loved but Dave wasn't crazy about. They have all sorts of outdoor recreation, of course. But, other than the horseback ride, Dave and I just enjoyed the "us" time. We made fires in the fire pit and roasted marshmellows and made s'mores and just caught up with eachother. It was very reasonably priced, but we also went during the week off-season. We stayed at Sundown Cabins in Broken Bow. They have a great web-site. We stayed in "The Little Lost Cabin".
