At long last we got to spend some fun time with the Whites. We had been battling scheduling difficulties, but lucked into a good time to celebrate together. The kids got to open their first gifts of the season and loved them. B is currently growing his second generation dinosaur and preparing for Wii Lego Star Wars fun with Brent tomorrow. M got this really cool toy dog + book combination and a musical wand
for dancing fun. After a little playing with the new goodies we headed off for pizza to celebrate time with wonderful friends and my promotion. One of the cool things about Erik and Kelli is that Erik has been Brent's best friend for decades, but that friendship has evolved to include my entire family and his lovely wife Kelli. They are both so fun to be around and I'm so hoping we get to spend some more time with them soon. It was a lovely, impromtu evening filled with wonderful people.
