The Very Cherry 3rd Birthday party was just the start of our birthday celebrations.
Once we arrived home, M had to put on her new leotard immediately!
We began her actual birthday by sleeping in and having a special birthday breakfast. Then, we spent a leisurely hour or two at Barnes and Noble getting a birthday treat, playing with trains, and reading books.
I think that a girl should definitely have cake on her actual birthday too, so once we returned homewe started again. M requested strawberry cake instead of cherry this time and helped with adding strawberry to the top and inside.
Sassy much? We share the cake with our family, Uncle Able, and Fraunt Tracie along with her requested Sonic birthday dinner. We also opened presents and played with all the new toys. She got to skip her naptime and was a bit crazy on sugar and tired by the end of the day, but happy. No tears and lots of laughing.
Here is our birthday girl at the close of the day - Her new fluffy pink skirt and blue lips from her slush. It was, overall, actually a fairly simple family day. Thank you to everyone who sent presents and good wishes and joined us in our celebrations. We so appreciate how all of you have helped us surround our lovely girl in love. Happy 3rd Birthday Lady M!
