Inspired by Stephanie's Virtual crop, that I mentioned last week, I did get a few pages done this week.
This one was inspired by Waleska Nerris' take on Elle's Studio Sketch Thursday back in June, but I just found it this week. It was quick and easy. My attempt at free hand lines looks way more wonky in this picture than it did in person... 18 month old M is very cute though!
This page is very much inspired by Stephanie's style with the doilies, pearls, and butterflies. The underlying idea was also inspired by a fellow SC Gallery poster. The doilies and gems seem to fit our sweet MJ as she danced and twirled in the driveway this spring.
Towards the end of the week, I really was drawn to pages with all of us. This one uses less than perfect pictures from this Easter, but I wanted them in the book so in they go! The paper is more MME by Rhonna. I loved these first collections of hers with MME and am looking forward to more.
Finally, lots of circles on a page of us laughingly taking our sometimes weekly family picture before leaving Dallas in February. A simple moment, but with lots of journaling hidden on the tag for context. I really like all the layers of shapes and circles. Such fun to make. The OA flour sacks and other tidbits coupled with SC diecuts pull these clusters together quickly.
I hope you have a crafty week!
