We had a fun time today running/walking with B & M in their first races! We joined the Hoppers, Nguyens, and most of the Lams for a 1.2 mile (2K) fun run in OKC, near the boathouses. There was lots of standing around, playing on the playground, enjoying fun costumes, and a quick "race" that mostly went well, despite high temperatures and a little bit of whining. I loved having some exercise as a family and playing with our friends. The boys ran a bit more than the girls did, but everyone finished! Grammie & Granddaddy came along as spectators, photographers, and to keep E company while we raced. We celebrated afterwards with ice cream all around! (Yes, some irony there). Princess Run & Dudes Dash
